Generation Q: Thursday evenings In partnership with the Nanaimo Boys and Girls Club, their mission is to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive space that allows youth to connect, and openly express their concerns regarding issues impacting their lives and the LGBTQQIP2SAA community. As service providers, and members of the community they have an obligation to talk openly and honestly about issues facing queer youth, and work together to do everything we can to eliminate those fears and work together to initiate positive change. Come join Generation Q at the Teen Centre every Thursday evening for a fun safe and supportive group, ages 13-18. Youth ages 18-24 are also encouraged to attend to participate as youth mentors and program volunteers. Registration fee required, contact: generationq@bgccvi.com

Youth Lounge at the Nanaimo Aquatic Centre: Thursdays, 3-7PM, Nanaimo Aquatic Centre. The Youth Lounge is a joint partnership between The Boys & Girls Club of Central Vancouver Island and the City of Nanaimo. The Lounge provides youth ages 12-17 with a safe, fun and supervised place to hang out and make their own. They offer a variety of activities such as swimming, skating, air hockey, foosball, video games, pizza nights and much more! Registration fee required.
